Breeze Messaging* had found a strong market in selling health messaging to members of health plans to address important health factors including smoking, diabetes and infant care.

Breeze found themselves with gaps in technical and product leadership that made delivering to on their client commitments a challenge. The combination of increased demand, a transition to a new platform and unexpected turnover of key staff left the leadership team unsure how they would deliver what they had sold.

Schreiber provided a team of seasoned professionals with experience in technical leadership, engineering, infrastructure, product strategy and implementation. The team provided a stabilizing force to support the existing staff, perform key interim roles, improve communication and deliver key results for the business.

Schreiber managed the technical team to ensure the ability to deliver on client commitments. We identified bottlenecks and addressed issues of performance, scale and reliability. We cleared technical roadblocks including increasing capacity to message members from 50k messages per day to over 300k messages per day on track for 1M messages per day.

Schreiber provided key technical services required to ensure HITRUST certification including securing technical systems, updating policies and procedures and providing evidence for external auditors. We ensured Breeze met the bar for the HITRUST audit and successful recertification.

Schreiber supported the diligence process in support of the eventual acquisition of Breeze by a strategic partner. We prepared materials and established a go-forward client delivery plan to close gaps in the product and platform providing direction and support for a better understanding of the value of the Breeze solution.

Breeze was acquired by a strategic partner at a valuation of $5+ million more than would have been possible without the involvement of Schreiber Solutions representing a greater than ten times return on investment for the shareholders of the company.
